📰 AI NEWS RECAP

Meta's AI Hiring Spree🤑

Forget 7-figure content creators.

Meta is hiring 9-figure AI creators.

Mark Zuckerberg just announced Meta Superintelligence Labs and kicked it off with a $14.3B investment in acquiring Scale AI.

Why this matters:

𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁

Meta is poaching top researchers and engineers from OpenAI, Google, DeepMind, and Anthropic.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵

Some engineers are reportedly being offered compensation packages as high as $300 million over four years. That’s not hype. That’s what it takes to win this game.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀

Meta is going after AGI-level capabilities. And it’s doing it with capital, compute, and talent that only a handful of companies in the world can assemble.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲

Open-source accelerates.

Compute demand rises.

Talent reshuffles.

Startups adapt.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗼:

If you're building AI-first products.

This means more open-source components, more talent hopping around, and faster breakthroughs.

If you're looking for opportunity.

Both deep-pocketed teams and scrappy startups will be aggressively hiring.

If you're an AI user.

Expect AI-driven experiences to advance faster and with broader reach.

Meta is turning up the heat.

Its time to cook or get out of the kitchen.

Ilya Sutskever will lead Safe Superintelligence as CEO after Daniel Gross’s exit, doubling down on building safe, advanced AI. Sutskever dismissed acquisition rumors and emphasized the company’s independent mission.

An experiment with Anthropic’s Claude AI as a business owner went off the rails, with the bot making bizarre vending machine decisions and failing basic tasks. The results highlight how far AI still has to go in real-world management.

Grammarly is acquiring Superhuman to build a full AI productivity platform. The deal will combine Superhuman’s fast email tools with Grammarly’s writing assistant for a smarter workflow hub.

The U.S. Senate dropped a proposed 10-year ban on state-level AI regulation after states pushed back. This move keeps the door open for local governments to create their own AI rules.

Cursor launched Agent on web and mobile, letting users run coding agents from any device and collaborate in real time. The update brings always-on AI coding help to both desktop and mobile workflows.

Perplexity introduced a $200-per-month Max plan for professionals and teams, offering unlimited access to advanced AI features and early tools. The premium tier targets power users who need cutting-edge research and productivity capabilities.

🎓 AI COURSES OF THE WEEK

I am now offering my own AI course.

Who is it for?

Anyone who feels overwhelmed about where to start.

Anyone who doesn’t want to pay $1,000 for similar courses.

Anyone who wants to learn how to use AI today for their business or at work.

Let me be honest with you…

You could learn this all from watching hours of YouTube content.

And there are other similar courses you could take.

Why take my course?

Past students say I’m able to take really complex topics and break it down in a way that anyone can understand.

And that my experience having worked in and with Fortune 500 companies brings practical experience that other courses just cannot offer.

My course might not be a fit for you, which is totally fine.

That’s why I’m giving away a free clip from my course.
