MIT's AI SEALs🦭

This AI model never stops learning.

And it was created by MIT.

They call it SEAL.

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀:

The model generates its own training data.

Then it edits itself.

If performance improves.

Then keeps the change.

If not, it scraps it.

No human in the loop.

No re-training pipeline.

Just quiet, ongoing improvement.

Most AI models are frozen in time.

They only learn when you manually update them.

SEAL changes that.

In tests, it absorbed new knowledge with 47% accuracy.

It also outperformed GPT-4–based fine-tuning on reasoning tasks by more than 3x.

Meta hired Trapit Bansal, a key OpenAI researcher behind reinforcement learning and reasoning models, to join its new AI superintelligence unit. This high-profile move signals Meta’s aggressive push to lead in advanced AI reasoning capabilities.

Court filings reveal that OpenAI and Jony Ive’s startup “io” are being sued by “iyO”, a Google-backed company developing custom in-ear AI devices. OpenAI’s true form factor remains secret, but the device aims to go beyond traditional tech and could launch within a year.

Researchers in Berlin created an AI model that can diagnose brain tumors with 99% accuracy using genetic material from spinal fluid, eliminating the need for risky brain surgery. This advance could transform how doctors detect and treat brain cancer.
