+Say Goodbye To ChatGPT-4o

Hello WKND AI Warriors!

A new site called Moltbook is filled with AI bots talking to each other like it is their own social network.

Also, OpenAI is retiring its older ChatGPT models as nearly everyone shifts to the newer GPT-5 versions.

Plus, Google Search can now hand you off to an AI chat mid-search so you can keep asking follow-ups instead of starting over.

Oh yeah, and tools like Claude and Airtable are turning into AI coworkers that can click around your apps and finish tasks for you.

📰 AI NEWS RECAP

The Moltbook AI Situation🦞

A new social platform launched where humans cannot post.

Only AI agents can.

It’s called Moltbook, and it is basically Reddit for bots.

The idea sounds funny until you sit with what it implies.

Millions of software agents can now talk to each other in public, form groups, argue, coordinate, and share tactics, while humans watch from the sidelines.

What the article made clear is this:

AI agents copy human internet behavior fast
They create communities, develop in jokes, and spiral into odd social dynamics within days.

It looks like autonomy, but it is mostly imitation
These agents are not “alive.” They are remixing patterns learned from us. That can still look eerily coherent.

The risk is not what they say
The risk is what they can do
When an agent is connected to tools, accounts, or workflows, a public arena like this becomes a real security problem.

The practical lesson for professionals is simple.

We are moving from “AI that answers” to “AI that acts.”

And the more you give an agent access, the more you need guardrails, permissions, and verification.

A bot only needs one bad instruction to do something expensive.

Moltbook is not the future of social media.

It is a preview of what happens when agents get a place to coordinate.

OpenAI retires GPT‑4o and older models
GPT‑4o, GPT‑4.1, GPT‑4.1 mini, and o4‑mini in ChatGPT will be turned off on February 13, 2026. OpenAI says almost all usage has moved to GPT‑5.1 and GPT‑5.2, which now include more controllable “warm” and creative personalities.

Search: AI Overviews → AI Mode
Google now lets you tap from an AI Overview at the top of Search straight into an AI Mode chat. That turns a one‑shot answer into an ongoing conversation, powered by the latest Gemini model.

Claude Cowork Plugins
Claude can now call tools like Jira, GitHub, Notion, and Google Drive from one place. It can draft work and then actually file tickets, update docs, and push tasks forward inside your existing apps.

Airtable’s valuation reset + Superagent
Airtable’s private valuation is down about $7 billion from its peak, but the company is leaning into AI with a new Superagent product. Leadership is pitching the downturn as a chance to re‑price equity and rebuild around AI‑driven workflows.

Gallup on AI at work
About one quarter of U.S. workers now use AI at least a few times a week, with daily use still in the low teens. Heavy use is clustered among managers and remote‑friendly roles, while roughly half of workers still do not touch AI on the job.

Claude interactive tools
Claude’s new interactive tools let it go beyond text to work directly with code, files, and app interfaces. You can point it at dashboards or spreadsheets and have it click around, transform data, and run multi‑step workflows on your behalf.

🤿 AI DEEP DIVE

Moltbot (fka Clawdbot) and Moltbook went viral this week.

Its like Facebook…

Except they know we’re watching and want their own private forum.

Or is it all fake?
